We enjoyed our stay at the Waverly Inn. Its location is convenient to the sights in Halifax, the staff was very attentive, and our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in one of the older rooms in the historic part of the hotel, and it was very nice. The only downside was that since the old parlor rooms had been reconfigured to turn them into bedrooms, some of the old charm was lost by the partitioning of the rooms. Our bathroom was added into the room and was small and since it was not a separate part ofthe room, the noise when showering etc. was distracting. A nice breakfast was served in the morning, enough to get you going without having to stop somewhere else.
