My husband and I loved this hotel during our stay in Philadelphia in 2010. Location is perfect for anybody without a car (across from Septa Train Station), it's close to City Hall and if you like to walk, you could even walk East to Independence Hall and surroundings. On the opposite end, again if you like to walk, you could stroll all the way West to Rittenhouse Square for shops and dining. The only bad quality I found in this hotel was the parking arrangement. If you bring a car, be prepared to pay a very high parking charge PER NIGHT, valet only. Since the hotel is in downtown, it was convenient to use their parking option, as we didn't know how safe it'd be to park in nearby "public" parking lots. Aside from the high parking cost, everything was great. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, restaurants within a block. We were very pleased with our stay.
