There were no towels in the room. Upon closer look the bathroom had not been cleaned; dirty floors, commode had been used but not flushed. Carpet in room needed a good vacuming. Bed had been changed and that seemed to be all that had been done in the way of cleaning. Called housekeeping and After an hour of waiting I went to the front desk and spoke to the assistant manager. She suggested that we could have a complimentary contiental breakfast. Declined and said we just wanted a clean room. There was no offer to move us. Said they may be able to get someone to come and clean room. By this time it was midnight. They brought us towels while I waited in the loby. room was never cleaned. The next morning no manager could be found. One of the employees said when cruise ships are in harbor in creates large crowd arriving and departing at the same time so there is no service. Could be a nice hotel if properly managed. First and last stay 2/18/2011.
