I had high hopes for a hotel that was directly across from the United Nations building. At first glance the room looked nice, but upon getting settled in there were little things here and there that bothered us. Missing knobs off the dresser front. Flat screen television that would make a humming noise on certain channels. Ceiling tiles that were dislodged and hanging down inside the hotel room. Wifi service only available in the lobby. To obtain internet service in the room, you will need to connect via the ethernet cord supplied by the hotel. Although I found it inconvenient to have to use the ethernet cord, I was willing to let it go. The issue arose when after paying for internet service for 24 hours, the internet service would go in and out and would take several minutes before it would come back on. I enjoyed my stay in NY, but would not choose to stay in this hotel again.
