My boyfriend and I were extremely excited to stay at this hotel, especially because all the family wouold be staying there as well for a family member's birthday celebration. However, our flight to Boston was cancelled, and we were unable to get any other flight up there. When I called the hotel I was told there would not be any issue with my cancellation, and I had thought what a great hotel. However, when I receieved this month's credit card bill, there was a charge from the hotel. I had called and spoken to someone in "accounting" concerning the situation, and they said I was billed because I did not provide a 48 hour notice. How was I supposed to know the plane was going to be cancelled!? The hotel was no help at all, and I am especially pissed that I was told at first there was no issue. If I had known I was to be billed, I would have asked a family member to enjoy the hotel since I was unable to.
