Isolating and somewhat dirty

My experience here, and that of a colleague, was pretty undesirable. While the breakfast buffet I'm sure was a nice touch, I personally don't eat much breakfast, so it didn't really affect me. The location of the hotel is, while accessible from major thoroughfares, pretty terrible if you wanted to walk anywhere, or find restaurants that are not chains. This may be a problem with any hotel in the area, as I never really understood the evils of (sub)urban sprawl until I spent time outside of DC. Further, the room and hallway smelled of smoke, from rowdy guests who were staying next door.
