The property description says that resort fees are included; they are not. I called the travel agency's 800 number to discuss the matter. First they told me that they have no control over the hotel description as it is written by the hotel and not them. I pointed out that if it is written it should be honored despite who wrote it. Then we were "disconnected." Subsequently I wrote an email to the travel agency. I received a confusing response explaining that the property resort fees were included but that the mandatory resort fees were still my responsibility. I am still shaking my head over that one. Despite the exorbitant resort fees, internet access was still not included. Basic amenities like a bath robe for use in your room were absent. The room was so noisy that sleep was an impossibility. And the shower had no door. I think it was supposed to be modern (or a cost-saving measure), but in my experience with European hotels that employ these types of showers, mold is sure to be a problem in the future. Overpriced.
