Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for one night before a 3 day cruise we were taking. We arrived at the hotel a little late, maybe 9 or 10pm. The woman at the front desk who checked us in seemed to be confused about our reservation but finally gave us our key and told us how to get to our room. We found our room, used the key and walked in, only to find another couple laying in bed watching TV! Obviously the confused woman at the front desk made a huge mistake. I felt really embarrassed. We went back to the front desk and they changed our room (obviously, I don't want to share one with strangers). I'm not sure what happened but it definitely made me weary. Once we got the situation worked out and finally made it to OUR room, I was very happy. It was decorated with very modern decor and fairly spacious. We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean and Queen Mary in the distance. It was a great view. I wish we could have stayed longer because, despite the bad mix up with the front desk, it seemed like a really nice hotel. You really can't beat the location either.
