I have now stayed at the hotel Samsara three times, and each time I left feeling satisfied with the time i spent there. The sun deck is amazing, and provides a wonderful view of the gorgious sunsets that seem to grace the sky nearly every night. The Samsara has a nice "sunset" happy hour at their bar as well, and tables outdoors on the deck for dining outside if you should so desire. The food ranges from fairly typical hotel food, to fairly exotic examples of the local cuisine. I don't recomend the lobster, but the breakfast is quite good every morning, with fresh jamaican blue mountain coffee to be had, and wonderful omlettes made to order. The best thing about staying there for me personally, was without a doubt, being able to trust that my passport, money, and valuables were safe in my room, and i never once used a safe for anything, but in fact left things strewn about the room, only to comeback to everything as I left it, every time. Overall I'd say that the Samsara is a good, reliable place to stay in Negril no matter what your age, or where your from, and I may even go back for a fourth time!
