I've stayed at Forest Suites twice now, and both times were enjoyable. The first time was for my wedding (we rented the Presidential Suite), the second time was for a weekend getaway. The Pres Suite was massive! It had a separate room for our own hot tub. The master bathroom was quite spacious. The room included a kitchen, dining area, living room, hall bath, master bath, hot tub room, and dual sided fireplace. The only drawback was that the hot tub was not up to temperature when we arrived. My next trip was for a weekend, where we stayed in one of their basic rooms. It definitely served its purpose. It was a simple, basic hotel room with 2 queen beds (we requested 1 king bed). The air conditioning unit was beneath the sink and you could see the outside through the space around the unit. The staff has always been most understanding and accomadating (with exception to giving us a room with 2 queens when we asked for 1 king). Especially while planning the wedding, they have been very helpful. I absolutely love that they are within walking distance to the casinos and restaurants. That is almost the most important thing I look for when choosing a hotel in the Tahoe area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
