Only one glitch!

Our stay was wonderful. This hotel has subtle street level entrances from two different streets, which was very convenient. Room was nice, clean, etc. Our only problem was once I returned, a $42 charge was put on my debit card from the hotel. I investigated and they said it was for my car parked in their garage. Said a call came from my room to have the car brought up on the morning we checked out. I explained that I flew to NYC, took taxis to and from the hotel, had no visitors that used the hotel's lot, etc. It took several phone calls to convince them that there must have been a human error b/c a call did NOT come from my room nor did we have a car. And that after paying the room rate, I would have no problem paying $42 for parking . . . IF it was my car. Finally credited back my account but I was amazed that it took me making so many phone calls to get Hilton to adjust it. (and no, this charge did NOT appear on my bill when we checked out. . . only on my bank statement the week of our return home.) So, I DO recommend staying here but also recommend reviewing your financial records upon return!
