Lodge Pricing with Motel Service

I stayed at Cheeca Lodge in January 2011 for one week. While the outside of the Lodge is beautiful and the rooms SEEM luxurious do not be fooled. The first night in our room was lovely, it was clean, no dust or garbage and the beds were pretty good. However, the next day the cleaning service unplugged the fridge with our water in it (by the way there is NO minibar), failed to empty trash cans and did not dust. This continued throughout my whole stay. When calling guest services to find a good park with grills for lunch, I was directed to 2 different places neither of which have grills. (No grills at Anne's Beach and Long Key Park). Finally, the lodge charges an additional "resort" fee which is ridiculous considering the already expensive room rate. I would not stay here again.
