This is a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and the view is great. Be forewarned though that there is no place that you can safely walk. The sea is across the street and looks lovely but the front desk of the hotel tells us that we should not go for a walk outside. Also be alert that the restaurant while very nice and with good food really marks up basic drinks. For example we asked for water - - the waiter asked if we wanted San Pellegrino water - - we said sure and then after getting the bill realized we had been charged 21.00 for two bottles. This means we each had two glasses of sparkling water for 21. Sheesh! - - Orange juice at breakfast was the same. They come around and ask if you want some juice and then a refill - - how much could OJ possibly cost?? You guessed it - - 7.00 per glass. Also note that there is supposed to be a place called Malacon Center adjoining the hotel that has shops a movie theater etc. Well there are no shops yet because they have not been built and the movie theater looks deserted. - - Just a little reality check!!
