In the process of being sold, and looks that way

We've stayed here a couple years ago, and found it clean and a good value then. When we checked in this time, we were offered a choice between the main hotel, and the other building on the property. When we asked about it, the person at the front desk described it as having a bed and breakfast type atmosphere. We thought, why not. The entry and common rooms were decorated in lodge-type decor. But our room just looked dated - old, frilly drapes, very dated wallpaper, the bathroom looked worn and a little suspect. There were odds and ends in the room that made it look unkempt. It apparently had free wireless, but there were no instructions in the room, so we assumed it just wasn't working. When we checked out the next day, we found that the hotel was going to be closing soon, as it was being sold.
