Overall, the hotel appeared to be in average shape in most instances (hallway, bathroom, room sofa) and slightly above-average condition in others (bed, furniture, tv). There was a lot of construction going on at the ground floor (reception, hallways to temp registration, etc.), but it was dust-free and generally well-kept given the extent of work underway. The staff was very helpful. I'm not familiar enough with Toronto to speak to its proximity to downtown facilities... but it was a long ride from the airport and a long ride to Richmond Hill. So, if you're in town for business with anyone in Richmond Hill, I would recommend staying closer to the airport or your client.
