Paradise Lost

When I die, I'm going back to Sunset at the Palms. If you're looking for a relaxing and/or romantic vacation, this is the place to go. The humid jungle-like atmosphere really put me at ease, not to mention the swim up bar. The staff is fantastic and is happy to help with anything. The only thing you should seriously consider is that, if you choose to travel during hurricane season, you are really rolling the dice. We got hit with one during our trip and they wound up having to move us to their sister resort in Montego Bay which is the EXACT opposite - giant concrete towers and lots of activity, especially once it turns into an evacuation point. Even still, the staff there tried to make the best of a very difficult situation.
