We enjoy the beauty and location of this hotel. It has a grand elegance which we look forward to on our stays. One disappointment this trip was the decline in the food choices and service. On our previous visits, it was a treat to have a breakfast buffet, happy hour and cookie time downstairs in the lobby area. This time, we spent a lot of time waiting for teabags and water and food to be replaced. A year ago, the many choices made available to guests was a treat! This time, just asking for some hot water and a plain 'ol teabag seemed to irritate the servers. I was disappointed. Housekeeping, even though called each day, never put more than one bath towel in the room! I felt as though the quality of this hotel was compromised to save money but the cost of the rooms is one of the highest in Omaha.
