We arrived early but that was not a problem for the hotel staff who had already cleaned and prepared the room. Every amenity one could possibly need was in the room and ready for our use (hair dryers, iron and ironing board, cable television, radio/broad band stations, internet access, refrigerator, microwave, bath soaps, shampoos, toothpaste and brushes, etc.). The parking was free for hotel guests. Fresh baked cookies and pastries were prepared each afternoon and left on a side table in the main lobby for guests to enjoy! The complimentary breakfast bar was well-stocked with favorites (waffles, cereal, fruit, bacon, eggs, hash browns, juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.). The hotel books up fast for these and other reasons such as its fabulous location next door to one of SCAD's performing arts buildings and great restaurants. Best of all, its only a short walk to River Street shopping! You cannot go wrong making this hotel your place to stay in Savannah.
