The decor/carpeting was a little dated and not what I expect from a Wyndham property.

The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is located on University Avenue near tons of eating and entertainment establishments. It's also conveniently located within a few miles of Texas A&M University. The room was spacious, with a separate kitchenette, desk, and sitting room. However, the carpet, furniture, and decor in the room was worn and dated. I was so shocked. Every other Wyndham property I have stayed in has been top notch. I wouldn't walk around in my sock feet in this one! Perhaps the hotel has undergone a makeover since I stayed there in the spring of 2010.
