A bit uneven. Maybe my negatives would be minor to others, considering the rate vs other DC hotels. They charge you for the internet, and parking, but that's weighed against an awesome fresh-cooked breakfast! The building is a combo lobby/shopping center which makes it feel impersonal, but that's weighed against the convenience of a World Market (for beer) and clothing stores (replace that stained tie), and some franchise restaurants . Staff at the desk are VERY helpful. We stop there because my son attends American University and the campus is minutes away.
