We stayed three weeks, longer than the typical guest. The resort was immaculate throughout; great attention to detail. We requested a room change (our room was right behind the front desk and very noisy from the lobby noise), and were graciously accommodated -- it took two days for a more suitable room to become available, but as soon as it was, the staff expedited our room change. Gorgeous grounds and pools; beautiful ocean views. Our only complaint was the noise at night -- late-night fiestas put on by the hotel, with very loud music occurred five days a week, and the food carts rattled across the paving outside our window early every morning. Food/drinks are pricey; instead, we occasionally went to El Andariego, a five minute walk south on the main street, for a fabulous breakfast, lunch and dinner. A 1-mile walk to the Malecon; 2-miles to Old Town; lots of walking, but easy to do and lots to see along the way. Enjoyed our stay.
