This hotel was in a great location and a wonderful fit for young professionals (ages 25-32).

The hotel was beautiful, however the majority of the desk staff was less than accomodating. We traveled from the United States where most hotels will allow you to check in a couple of hours early, however we were quite disappointed when we arrived 2 hours earlier than the check in time and we were turned away & asked not to return until the appropriate time. We were also disappointed with the expensive charges for parking within the hotel, but we realized that was typical for many of the surrounding hotels in Montreal. Our trip became much more pleasant once we did check into our room because the room (including the bathroom) was amazing. The view was spectacular as we were able to look onto cresant st. and observe the action from our balcony. The double-tiered roof top terraces were also very nice & full of people socializing with delicious food & beverages. The downstairs bar in the hotel lobby offering incredible drinks and service, including happy hour specials. All in all our first impressions of the place were turned around & we had a great vacation & stay at Hotel de la Montagne.
