This is a former Holiday Inn (or similar variation) that was turned into a Hilton. This hotel does NOT provide valet (self park is $45 per night), room service after 10PM (if you are working late you will go to bed hungry), and does not offer any of the normal "perks" for being a Hilton Gold/ Platinum member (free bottled water in room, etc.). The views of SF were very nice and there was a large desk area with connections. My room had no working shower and the tub drain was dysfunctional so bathing was quite the ordeal. The toilet also did not flush properly. I did not know these things until I began to get ready for an early morning meeting, so I just called on my way out to ask to have the problems fixed while I was out. The maintenance man visited, but the problems were not fixed. Do yourself a favor and stay at The Omni or The Intercontinental in SF financial district.... and that is coming from a loyal Hilton member.
