to sum it up, I traveled from NJ, arrived May 14-19, 2011. It was nine in my group and we all have different view, but here is mine! Check-in was long, rooms werent ready at 3pm, but they gave us our bracelet and watched our bags, so we went inside and enjoy the resort while we waited. the room had its problems but nothing major, air conditioner leaks, well i guess because it was on high, it didnt bother me but one of my guest was a bit upset. you always had to ask for towels, but we always got them, whenever we called for water, soda or help with anything in the room, they came in a reasonable amount of time. buffet was good, trust me im a very picky eater, speciality resturants were GREAT! if your there on the weekend, the resort will be consumed by locals, they are friendly so dont be afraid, however the vendors are ruthless, just say no and ignore them and they do go away! but be prepared to say no to them EVERYDAY! The gounds are always nice, the entertainments was not very interesting to me, but there were people there enjoying the show, the "disco" was fun, they even allow you to hook up your Ipod to their equipment, so you can play your music, that was GREAT! there were some NewYorkers and NewJersians there, so the music was HOT! I recommend the Island of Sanoa ($70 USD) excursion and the Santo Domingo shopping/history trip ($35 USD). Overall "I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE", once I got over all of the nuisances. Trust me you will enjoy yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!
