Just returned from 5 days at the "resort." We wanted a nice hotel for our vacation. We booked an ocean side room and got a first floor handicapped room. We asked to move higher, as we did not want visitors to look in the room as we enjoy the view. We were offered two other rooms, one pool side with the same issue and a second overlooking the parking lot. This hotel has many room types, so know what you are paying for when you make reservations. Specify the floor and balcony type. (full, half, quarter) Also, the town had major contruction noise (not the hotels fault, I agree) however, it made the outdoor facilities useless. They would not return the "resort fee" because we used the parking and internet. My opinion, the resort fee is used to show a lower price on the internet than a nicer hotel down the street.
