This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

I would NOT recommend this hotel to even my worst enemy! The neighborhood is so unsafe, as we were walking down the street a couple pulled over and picked us up an took us where we were going due to the "neighborhood." The hotel was filthy! The sheets were dirty, the carpet was worse than the floor in a barn and the toilet had NOT been flushed since the room had previously been used! The air conditioning nor heat worked. The second day of our stay, someone tipped over the ice machine in the hall way, causing our water to be shut off for TWO days! The manager/owner did absolutely NOTHING to compensate us for this experience. It's a shame it's even listed on I have driven across the USA 7 times and stayed in all types of hotels and motels along the way, but this was the most horrible hotel ever. Unfortunately, due to the football game, there were no other hotel rooms available in New Orleans and we forgot our sleeping bags & tent!
