I booked for a King size bed. When I arrived around 9:30 PM they had no King size beds available. They stated that they don't hold bed types and I would have to take it up with the 3rd party I booked with. Talking to the manager made no difference. I stated that if I hadn't arrived I would have still been charged for the room, so where did my King go??? They stated that to them 2 queens were the same. They "upgraded" me to a nice room with a view of the water. I said I didn't want the "upgrade: I wanted the King bed. The view ended up looking out at a building. You could see the water if you looked around it. This hotel is not on the boardwalk so be aware. The alarm clock in the room went off without being set and would not shut off. (I had shut off the alarm before going to sleep) The wash cloth looked dingy. It looked like it had been used as a cleaning cloth in the past. The room was clean. I would have stayed there again if I had received what I had booked or if someone cared enough to say sorry for the mistake. Bottom line is they don't care enough to try to make amends.
