This hotel was fairly typical of a 3 star hotel. There seemed to be only one employee there when we arrived at 7 PM. She worked the desk, delivered extra towels, tested the water in the pool and spa, etc. The bed was firm. The pool was freezing (in the middle of winter), but the hot tub was boiling. A few minutes after getting in the hot tub, the desk clerk came to test the Ph levels, and then informed us that we'd need to get out since the levels were off and it could damage our skin cells, though the pool was still open. We only had 2 smallish towels in the room when we arrived, though the desk clerk was very kind and quickly got us more. The air conditioner was set to keep the room at 60 degrees in January. Luckily, we were able to change that and bring the temperature up in the room, which was nice since there was only one sheet and a thin blanket on the bed. There wasn't even a bedspread. Again, it was the middle of winter. The breakfast was okay, but mainly consisted of low-quality carbs. The juice machine was broken. So there wasn't anything to drink for those avoiding coffee. Overall, the employees were really nice, the room was large, and it was nice for a one-night getaway, but probably not for a vacation of several days.
