Generally a good experience. Be aware the hotel is still going through renovations--something we thought they were done with, so we were a little surprised to get an older room that did show some wear and tear. Since we were gone most of the time it didn't really matter. The bed was comfy, room cleaned well every day. No breakfast unless you've paid for a nicer room, though there is coffee and tea available. The desk staff was ok, said hi whenever we came back, but didn't always seem enthusiastic. Some people complain about parking charges--understand you are visiting a city with very little parking available, and public transit is really easy to use (and at * for a week of transportation, way cheaper than paying for one day of parking). Generally a good location for the hotel, but also be aware that the location is close to where several neighborhoods converge, including one of the seedier ones. Don't look too touristy and you don't get bothered at all (like don't drag your suitcases down the street through the seedy area). A good overall experience for the deal we got.
