I went in November, when there were storms out in the Caribbean that gave us high winds and tides, so the beach area was completely unuseable. But, that's what you risk by staying in the Bay side (the other side of the Keys had perfect conditions!). The pool/sauna area was well-kept and the rooms were big and comfy. Centrally located, so you could cruise the strip for restaurants and attractions pretty easily. Overall, it was clean and the bartenders were nice, but it was a little pricey for what you actually get as compared to other hotels in the immediate area--not enough of an upgrade at all to justify the higher cost.
