We were taken back at the front desk as we registered to check in that their was a resort fee of $25.00 per night to be added on to the price of the trip. Completely caught us by surprise and refused to pay it thinking that the hotel was paid in full in advance. We ended up being given the charge anyway. They said it was in the contract with your company and should have known about it. I did find it in small print. If we ever do business with you again, that needs to be up front and included in our payment, not sneaked in. Because we had a small group with us, everyone was deeply unhappy with this occurance. This was a terrible way to start a trip and we are challenging that fee with American Express. You didn't treat us right, think about checking in on your first day of vacation and your hit with a $109.00 fee that you knew nothing about. When this happened, I started asking people at the hotel staying there and everyone was upset about it and knew nothing about it before they checked in. Your doing something wrong, you need to make it right. The price of my pre paid trip was not what I paid you and should have been. I have used your company many times and I always have a small group with me. I demand some type of a reasonable answer. Thank You, Bobby Lastra - 813-933-6158 or 813-716-4187.
