We just returned from a 10 day stay at the Fiesta and we had a wonderful time! We watched for sales promotions and booked our trip in late August, so it was a very good value. The service and staff were outstanding. While the quality of the food in the restaurants needs to be improved, we loved the new coffee & pastry bar that's been added since our last visit there. If you are hungry during your stay, it's your own fault. Love coffee drinks? Try the frappee with extra milk & sugar-yum! If you're a diver or a snorkeler, this is the place for you. It's great snorkeling anywhere along the shore from the Money Bar to the Fiesta the fish are plenty and quite varied. We saw stingrays, angel fish, and baracuda just to mention a few. Take out a couple pieces of bread to feed them and they'll follow you all over. Forget about hard beds-there are now pillow-top beds that made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were always kept clean and we especially enjoyed the special feature of our bed being turned down and the room straightened while we were out every evening. If you want to find out about tours, etc. check with Eleazar at the Hotel Tours area in the lobby. He is very knowlegable and went out of his way to answer our daily questions. If you like to snorkel, be sure to take the 3-reef tour-it was super! The jungle casita area has really been cleaned up and it's really a neat-looking place now.
