We have stayed at Embassy Suites 3 times, each time we have come skiing to Lake Tahoe / Heavenly resort. All three times we got good deals through Travelocity for our trips. The hotel is located very close to the main ski lift, gondola, and bus' stops in case the gondola is closed (walking distance about 4 minutes). The hotel staff is friendly and professional. There are quite a few nice restaurants both walking and short driving distance including couple inside the hotel. For someone who does not ski but likes to gamble, there are couple of places to have good time as well very close by. Breakfast is very decent and included - a great plus for skiers. We would definately come back again to this hotel and recommend anyone to stay in it.
