For business or pleasure or a combination of both -Overall a good hotel with very good facilitates and staff that want to be top notch but have not been given the authority needed to resolve the many issues that arise here. Beware of rooms with balconies, although they offer great views, you will find they often smell of cigarette smoke inside as they are actually given to guests who were looking for smoking rooms (this is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel). The hotel line is they hope those guests will smoke on the balcony were the hotel provides ashtrays and not in the room - "give a smoker an ashtray and try to stop them from going into the room". Great pool area, functional exercise room, nice club lounge and good restaurant in a slightly off beat location with a clear view of the port. Probably the best choice for a major chain in Port of Spain!
