Beautiful resort. Good food.

We stayed the previous year at the Grand Palladium. We had no complaints with either resort. We have only been to these two so not sure what other resorts have to offer and how the Valentin compares. The food at the Valentin is a step above and we were surprised several times by how much we enjoyed it. We loved the 24 hour room service and used it several times. It is a limited menu but was delivered promptly, warm and satisfying. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. Prettier than the Palladium. The beach was just so so. The staff kept it clean and beach service was nice. The beach had more to do with location than what could be controlled by the resort. The room was incredible. We loved the layout, location, and upkeep. The only negatives are the people that throw a towel on a beach or pool chair early and the resort does not enforce the saving policy. Hard to find a good place to sit by the pool after 10:00 am. Not too much to do after dinner. Night life a little boring. Really no complaints but we will try another resort for next year. We just like to try something different until we find that "perfect spot" (Not sure it exists). We would recommend it for anyone looking for a romatic getaway.
