Great Location, Great Decor, Horrible Customer Service

My two sisters, GF from Chicago, and I stayed at the Galleria Park for my 30th bday weekend in SF. You definitely can't beat the location. We were only two blocks from Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf was only one bus ride away. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and the free wine at 5pm and free coffee and tea in the morning is also a nice plus. There is also a gym (although quite small) and a business center where you can print your boarding pass free of charge.....BUT....the customer service leaves much to be desired. Don't think you'll come here and the staf will go out of their way to assist you. You really have to be persistent. And forget getting the valet to order you a cab...darn near futile! Also, one of the guys was a young dude (probably just graduated from college) who talked to me as if this was my first time ever, in life, staying at a hotel. Hmph! So I guess if the front desk staff doesn't play a huge role in your hotel experience, it's overall a good hotel for what you pay. (SN: Bathrooms are small and old...but serve the purpose)
