Bad Attitude, Bad Room

I reserved a non-smoking business suite with a refrigerator and king size bed. My flight arrived at 11:30pm, and reserved online knowing I would be very tired from my long trip. The room I was assigned was NOT designated as a non-smoking room (NO placard on the door). Went back to front desk to request a room change. Was met with attitude and staff insisted it WAS a non-smoking room despite lack of signage. I requested another non-smoking business suite with a refrigerator and king size bed, and was told there wasn't one. I was offered another non-smoking business suite with a refrigerator with two double beds instead. When I went there, there was no refrigerator. I then called customer service, which was closed! Reservations then called the front desk to try to remedy the situation, and was also met with resistance. After several calls back and forth, the front desk clerk miraculously found me another non-smoking business suite with a refrigerator and king size bed on another floor - which clearly could have been given to me in the first place!!! This all took over an hour, by which time I was angry, dissatisfied, and too upset to go to sleep. When trying to watch tv I found that the in room tv listing was also woefully incorrect. Definitely NOT a good impression, and I will NOT be staying at another Days Inn ever again.
