I wasn't sure what to expect when I made reservations at Hotel Union Square. You look at hotel pictures online and they rarely give you an accurate representation of what the place is really like. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel was smack in the middle of the Union Square area with a trolley stop just up the street from the Hotel Lobby. There were stores and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and plenty to do, close to the hotel. The only issues were paying almost $20 - $25 a day for parking at the Hotel considering we stayed there for 6 days and if you wind up with a room facing the street you will hear the ringing of the trolley bells all day into the early night. Besides that, my wife and I would stay there again.
