Aston Kaanapali Shores is located right on the beach, a bit north of Lahaina. It's a great hotel for families. We stayed there as part of a wedding party so we got to see the one bedroom and two bedrooms. The rooms are a bit dated but nice and clean. The closet even had beach gear in it for our use. The parking attendant also loaned us boogey boards and sand castle toys for the kids for our stay until we were done. There were various activities including a dance show right at the patio where they served cheap cocktails. There are two pools and a hot tub. The second pool is nice if there are too many kids at one. Side note: There was a convertable Corvette that had been broken into on the top of the parking structure. Make sure to keep all valuables out of sight on the island...not just at this hotel. Overall we had an excellent stay. It's one of the best value hotels on Kaanapali beach.
