Clean, mid-range hotel - stayed May 2011

Member Rating 4 out of 5 by a traveler from on May 18, 2011

The hotel is very clean. The lobby is impressive but the hallways could use updating. The rooms are small & the beds in the double rooms are twin unlike most American hotels which have queen size. The beds have no space between them. The floors are a wood laminate so you don't have to worry about well used carpet. The bathrooms are very small but very clean with limited counter space. Please note that the hotel only offers food at breakfast. There is no room service and only beverages at a very small but nice bar area. There are limited English language tv stations & no internet access but there was so much to do and see in Rome that it became a non-issue. Within short walking distance to various restaurants, grocery store, train station, metro & taxi stand. Rooms that face the hotel entrance can expect some noise after midnight as there is a bar that is open late.
