The Place to stay in Sedona

Member Rating 5 out of 5 by a traveler from Travelocity.com on April 23, 2011

This was a first visit to Sedona for my sister, mom and me. In looking for a place to stay we were dismayed at the prices we found. Then I looked at Poco Diablo! What a gem in the desert. The rooms were large, we had 3 people in the room with 2 queen beds and there was still plenty of room. It was quiet, even though our patio was next to the pool. If you eat at the resort, get an outside table looking over the golf course for ambiance. We went out for dinner and saw a herd of Javelina on our way back to our room! We were just a few minutes from downtown Sedona one direction and a few minutes from Bell & Cathedral Rocks in the other. Climbing Cathedral Rock wasn't nearly as difficult as we had assumed, but the Jacuzzi was perfect afterward. I completely disagree with the negative comments on Yelp. Not only will I stay here again, my sister has already planned to bring her husband in the near future to stay at Poco Diablo.
