Very nice boutique hotel

I stayed here with my family during a short visit to DC we did in December. We took advantage of a low season rate which really gave us great value for our money. Althogh the building is old, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Beds are great. One of the best features of this hotel is location. It is a block away from the metro station and a block and a half away from the Capitol building. The staff at the front desk was not exceptionally helpful, which we felt was out of line with the hotel quality, they were just ok. One lowlite was that they attempted to charge us more than $60 a day to park our van in their parking lot, so we ended up leaving the car in Union Station ($18 a day).
