Chose the Adolphus for the location and the recommendations on Travelocity. Centrally located in Dallas and a mere 6 blocks away from the former TX Book Depository Museum [The 6th Floor Museum], which was a prime consideration for this visit. Historical Hotel founded by Adolphus Busch, of the famous Busch Beer Family. Decor harkens to the early 20th Century and is an eclectic mixture of Art Deco; Louis XIV; with distinctive Fr. And European flavors. Main Bar seems like something out of the Roaring Twenties. Close to very nice restaurants; but if you love seafood, you need to go visit Eddie V’s for steak and seafood. Excellent selection cooked just right. Service impeccable and staff most helpful. Crisp linens with robes provided for the comfort of the guests.
