This is definitely a high-class hotel with the high-class cost to go with it. Everyone who I met was very helpful, from check in to check out. They were all pleasant and the hotel itself is beautiful! If you can, go for an ocean-view room, it's a great experience to have the window cracked and hear the ocean and also to be able to look out onto the bay and watch the kayakers and otters. Be aware that there is a $25 'resort fee' to cover your valet parking, spa access (which is definitely worth visiting if only for the rooftop hot tub), wireless and I'm not sure what else.
