Location is nice, but it is more about the history than anything else. Was so overcrowded with tour when we checked in we could hardly get anyone to pay attention to us. All efforts are put in the lobby and shops, room halls are shabby, and dusty. You have to pay a $25 fee for coffee and paper in your room (Really?). Pool not heated (Really?) $25 a day to park even for guest (Really?). Cleaning staff makes noise all night long, slamming doors and slamming doors, even after we got up at midnight and asked them to stop. For what you pay I expect perfection, and I have stayed less expensive places and had much higher quality facilities and services. The restaurants are very very pricy, only ate in one and ate outside the hotel afterwards. They say they have a green initiative but the staff doesn't know about it because no matter where we put our towels each day they replaced them all. It is too bad because it could be a really cool hotel to stay at.
