We stayed at the Gold Coast because it was close to downtown attractions, the airport and where our daughter and husband live. It was convenient to all the things we wanted to do in Las Vegas. We enjoyed the restuarant (TGIFridays) the buffet was a good value, the bowling was inexpensive and fun and the casino was okay. It wasn't a luxury place, but then again, it wasn't a luxury cost either. Our room looked out on an outer wall which wasn't much of a view, but we were out of the hotel more often than we were in it. The lobby area was ordinary and small compared to other Las Vegas hotels. It served our purposes well.
