We had insisted on Non-smoking & after we got that ironed out...we were quite pleased! Yes the room was quite small, BUT when coupled with the terrific amenitys offered... "such a deal". The front desk was very helpful in all matters. There is a terrific Breakfast Buffet offered. The basement is hooked to a Starbucks & a Up-scale (underground) Shopping Mall. Right out of the Main entrance is a Metro Sta. (subway) I'll bet not 300 feet away! Because it is located on the southern end Nathan Rd, you are close to the Waterfront, the Star Ferry, the Hydrofoil (Macau), various Museums & all kinds of cool stuff within easy walking distance! This area between Nathan & the waterfront is called Harbor City... There are lots of great restaurants here. The whole area is called Tsim Sha Tsui & it is listed in all Kowloon guidebooks as great Shopping & Eating... In Conclusion we had a terrific time there & staying in the Hotel Kowloon was a big part of our experience! When & if we return, without question, we will stay at the Kowloon again. John S.
