quick getaway from miami

I sent Omni hotel request/s a couple of days prior to our arrival - the hotel did not accomodate our request inspite of the fact that the hotel responded that they will. Room was comfortable but kinda old and bathroom was not very cleaned. Some hotel staff was not friendly at all. We were celebrating my husband's bday that weekend but the hotel did not make it "special" as they say they would in their reply to my request. They place us in a room with adjoining doors inside - each morning we have to wake up with noise next door. Hotel was in good location and near tourist attraction which I love the most when choosing a hotel.
