I always wanted to stay here but..

Upon entering, long lines for check-in. Lobby was well lit and updated. Food at both there upscale restaurant and Hamburger "joint" was very very good. My room overlooked the park. Def. pay extra for a park view!!! My only complaint was the incidentals. I was charged for local calls to the tune of $250.00 for mostly local calls. I told personnel when checking out that my cell phone had no reception in the room and I had no choice but to use the room phone. They didn't care. Everything good went bad and as a result, I will never stay there again. Oh, and BTW, they never sent me a an email or card to ask if my stay there was fine and or where they can and cannot improve. The little things, especially for a somewhat upscale Central Park South midtown Hotel.
