extremely rude and aggressive front desk staff

I stayed here for two days in early January, 2010 with my family and would never do so again. The visit began badly with an unpleasant encounter with the night desk clerk, who could not find my reservation and suggested I was lying about mking the reservation. When I said I would not leave until the matter was resolved she summoned the security officer, who was equally aggressive. The latter threatened to have me arrested or at least escorted off the propsery by the police. When the clerk finally retrieved the reservation she was rude and surly. I was treated like a criminal, and from my observation I was not the only one. One customer after another was sharply questioned about their address and other contact information and told in no uncertain terms that they would have to pay for incidentals to the room. This is understandable, of course, but not the admonitory tone, which implies dishonesty. The security in the hotel is oppressive, and the management seems to think that it is privilege to stay in their establishment. Why I do not know. For what they charge the service and amenities are sub par. Never again. Avoid this place.
